AI-embedded drawings, explained

Apr 2026

Every Struction project starts the same way: we read the whole set. Every drawing, every spec, every bid document, page by page. Nothing gets skimmed.

As Struction reads, it embeds what it learns directly into the drawings. A lighting plan stops being a flat PDF and becomes a sheet that knows its own fixtures, circuits, and conflicts. Ask it a question and the answer comes back anchored to the exact detail that justifies it.

The same embedding powers the federated BIM view. Elements carry their discipline, their counts, and their source sheets, so a takeoff is never a guess. When we say 2k tons, it actually means 2k tons.

The result is a set you can interrogate from any angle: by trade, by sheet, by question. The drawings stop being a pile of paper and start being the project’s memory.
