Risks
A Risk is something that could cost you — a challenging assembly, a complicated relationship between trades, a logistical or structural conflict, or a missing element. Risks are grouped into categories: Integrity, Complexity, Schedule, Cost, Safety, and Coordination.
Generation. Struction generates risks automatically on upload, above its default thresholds. You can add your own, or ask chat to.
Resolution. You have three paths for any risk:
- Resolve it — with new information, an answer to an RFI, or an additional upload.
- Accept it — carry it knowingly (for example, with contingency).
- Dismiss it — if it isn't real or substantial, remove it from the map.
Workflow example — A red chip on the structural sheets catches your eye. You zoom in: HVAC rough-in conflicts with structural beams in several locations. You split-screen the mechanical and structural sheets to confirm it's real, mark it as a blocking risk, and raise an RFI to the architect — turning a problem you might have eaten in the field into a question you ask before bid.
