Exporting
Exporting to Excel is the first hard deliverable Struction produces — the artifact you send to subcontractors or attach to your invitations to bid.
- Export This Trade — from a single scope's Focus View or Detail Panel, exports that one scope.
- Export All SOWs — from the Scope of Work surface, exports every scope into one workbook with one trade per tab and a Summary tab up front.
When you export, you choose which scopes to include and which sections of each — so you can, for example, send Inclusions and Exclusions to subs while keeping your internal Risks and RFIs to yourself. You can also export from the + button to the right of the chat bar.
The workbook carries a locked footer noting it was generated by Struction, with a version number and a reminder to review before distribution.
Workflow example — Your scopes are reviewed and verified. You hit Export All SOWs, include every trade but exclude the internal Risks section, and get a clean Excel workbook with one tab per trade and a summary. You attach it to your ITB and send it to your bid list — work that used to take a day of formatting, done in a couple of minutes.
